MOUILLOT Florent
Florent Mouillot is a senior scientist at Research Institute for Development (IRD), at the Centre d’Ecologie Fonctionnelle et Evolutive (CEFE) in Montpellier.
His research cover different aspects of wildfire, from climate, human and plant ecology fire drivers assessment, to fire impacts on ecosystems and biosphere/atmosphere interactions. More particularly his research covers mid-term (decade to century) fire history reconstruction from remote sensing and archives, aiming at capturing long term trends, abrupt breakpoints, or fire weather relationships adjustments according to fire management or vegetation changes. His region of interest mostly cover the Mediterranean Basin including the southern part with a contrasted socio economic history compared to the European part, and France.
